Plentyfull takes prides in sourcing it’s food seriously, to only deliver high quality produce, that is prepared with love; and a place where you can dine in a relaxed environment with your friends and family.
FHI worked with the Plentyfull team on it’s concept development, operational space planning, menu engineering, recruitment and pre-opening.

Yu Tang Clan, Singapore
Upgrading a famous “Market Street” hawker to Shenton Way, Yu Tang Clan serves its signature mackerel fish soups and broths incorporating self-ordering terminals and a tongue-in-cheek reference to local street-cred in its brand positioning.
FHI was involved in Yu Tang Clan’s concept development, operational space planning and pre-opening.

The Full of Luck Club, Singapore
A progressive Chinese restaurant and bar, Full of Luck Club is located at the heart of Holland Village, and conveniently situated just above the Holland Village MRT line.
From the same people behind the famous Li Bai Cantonese restaurant at Sheraton Towers Singapore, Full of Luck Club serves up comfort Cantonese-fusion food, Asian-inspired cocktails, exclusive Chinese craft beer and features a take-away bao bar that is bound to bring you loads of luck and goodness.
FHI provided services for it’s concept development, operational space planning, brand development, menu engineering, and pre-opening.

Barrio by Mex Out, Singapore
A fast casual, 70 seater Mexican cantina and bar with two sibiling outlets in Singapore.
Centrally situated in a high traffic location just above the Somerset MRT line and within the popular 313 Somerset mall.
Barrio serves up authentic Mexican street-food, with an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner offering and a good bar selection.
FHI was involved in securing its location, concept development and realignment of the existing brand, operational space planning, menu engineering and pre-opening.

ANRAN @ Tidwell Farm, United Kingdom
Focus Hospitality Inc recently purchased and restored a derelict dairy farm set within 200 acres of stunning Devon countryside and converted it into a unique luxury accommodation offer.
A major renovation was undertaken to meticulously restore the property and convert it into one of the UK’s leading offers in its category. The property was then re-branded as ANRAN and now features 14 bedrooms all en-suite that can be either rented individually or as a whole.
In addition, there are several venue rental options, including a photography studio, covered winter garden, old dairy and various covered and enclosed barns. The business model of the concept relies on low labour costs with high returns due to the simplicity of the operations.
Focus is now looking to expand this concept in other parts of the world.

Kapok Cafe, Singapore
As an extension to their flagship store, Cafe Kapok is a lifestyle cafe and bar that serves as an espresso stop, a lunch spot as well as a dinner and drinks destination. The cafe is integrated as part of the existing indoor boutique with an al-fresco patio overlooking the historic St Joseph’s Church. On the menu, you can find a selection of affordably priced, modernised comfort food, wines and craft beers.

Tin Hill Social, Singapore
Tin Hill Social, a casual restaurant and bar in the enclaves of Bukit Timah’s Turf Club. Set in two lush colonial stables that consist of a large air-conditioned dining room and al fresco terrace that serves light and healthy food throughout the day and classic comfort food in the evenings. Some of their signature dishes are prepared using hay by either smoking, roasting and baking that imparts subtle flavours that enhances the food.

The Syndicate Juice Company, Singapore
The Syndicate Juice Co. is an online juice company that was launched in 2013. They specialise in fresh, 100% natural, cold press juices, super-food smoothies, nut milks and cleanses made from top of the line commercial-grade cold press juicing machines. Being an eco-friendly company, Syndicate Juice are also supporters of local, urban farming and are collaborating with ComCrop.

El Mero Mero, Singapore
El Mero Mero (Mexican slang for “the main man”) is a new progressive Mexican restaurant that have just recently opened it’s door at Chijmes. Serving hearty Mexican cuisine in a refined setting, that offers a diverse range of dishes from Mexico. FHI was responsible for the concept development, operational space planning and for finding and recruiting talented Chef Remy.

Cocoa Colony, Singapore
Focus Hospitality Inc was engaged to concept develop a new and unique cafe concept with emphasis on chocolate in all its forms. The first outlet opened in 2013 on Hu-Bin Road in Shanghai, China with subsequent outlets due to open across Shanghai and greater China over the coming years.

Tyler Hotel, Jakarta
Focus Hospitality Inc is working with the developer behind “Morrissey” hotel in Jakarta in developing a new and independent 350 key deluxe hotel brand with associated food service establishments adjacent to the current property. The development will feature cutting edge restaurants and bars that will integrate into the surrounding neighbourhood and create a vertical and horizontal dining destination venue in the heart of Jakarta.

St Regis Resort, Maldives
Focus Hospitality Inc has been appointed as the official food service consultants for the upcoming St. Regis Resort in the Maldives and is currently working with the project team in implementing new and exciting food service concepts that will set the resort apart from other ultra-deluxe resort properties in this tropical paradise.

Focus Hospitality Inc has conceptualised and provided operational space planning services for the upcoming 118 key Radisson Blu Hua Hin Resort in Thailand. The resort will feature a destination beach bar, club and restaurant along with other exciting food service establishments and is due to open in 2016.

4Fingers Crispy Chicken
The real Korean fried chicken craze started in New York City when both the American GQ and Esquire magazine named this phenomenon the very best chicken in America. We took inspiration from these deliciously hand-painted crunchy and spicy pieces of fried chicken and conceptualized “4Fingers” with a distinct New York street-style feel and look and expanded its product range beyond just the chicken wing. The brand is now available in Singapore, India and Indonesia with an aggressive rollout plan across the Asia Pacific and the Middle East over the next few years.

Conrad Hotel, Manila Bay
Focus Hospitality Inc worked with SM Investment Group to conceptualise and provide operational space planning for their upcoming mixed use development in Manila, comprising of a 350 key luxury hotel property, high-end shopping mall and a rooftop destination venue with numerous restaurants and bars overlooking Manila Bay. By creating cutting edge food service concepts that are designed from a cost efficiency standpoint, the client was able to secure Hilton Worldwide and their Conrad brand as the appointed hotel operator.
The Conrad Manila will cover 8-storeys and will integrate two levels of entertainment and retail outlets on its ground level. The up market property will offer unique views of the Manila Bay sunset, and will provide guests with a choice of an all-day restaurant, two specialty restaurants, lobby and bar. The hotel will also offer a business centre, swimming pool, spa, fitness centre and a 1,446 square metre ballroom and meeting spaces. The hotel is due to open in 2015.

Revolution Coffee, Singapore
A single origin espresso bar tucked away in the up and coming Mediapolis district of Singapore, where re-use, re-cycle and revolve was the driving force behind the concept, using beer crates as table legs and recycled wood from the old National Stadium bench seats as table tops. Even the state-of-the-art Synesso espresso machine got a pimped-up makeover along with wallpaper specially designed by Singapore’s famous “sticker lady”, Samantha.

Sopra Cucina & Bar
The new Sopra Cucina & Bar is an ode to the glamorous days of post-war Italy, when Hollywood and the films of Federico Fellini and Sophia Loren first captured the imaginations of an enamored public. Specialising in Sardinian cuisine, Sopra Cucina & Bar also serves classic Italian dishes and Modena-oven fired pizzas. The aperitivo bar is an ideal place to start and finish off your genuine Italian dining experience on the al fresco decking. FHI sourced all vintage second-hand interior design elements as well as all operating equipment during a sourcing trip through Tuscany, including custom-made tiles, cast-iron statues and leather upholstered dining chairs from the 50′.

WPP
WPP a world leader in the advertising and marketing communications industry with 60 offices in Singapore alone, has created a new purpose built, “green” office building at 50 Scotts Road in Singapore. Focus was engaged to assist in creating an on-site cafe operation to offer its employees and guests top quality food service. We worked with the appointed interior designers, planned their kitchen facility and secured “The Marmalade Group” as the operator.

Union Restaurant & Bar
Located in a corner unit of a traditional shophouse on Club Street in the heart of Chinatown, this restaurant and bar was the first to serve an extensive range of Belgian beers and blue-lipped mussels in Singapore, with a bar on the ground floor, a restaurant on the first and an exclusive private dining room on the second floor. It featured a unique open kitchen concept on the first floor allowing diners a full view of the preparation and cooking of their food. “The Telegraph” described it as “A combination of a super-cool bar with dim lights and great cocktails and a top restaurant where the focus is on modern European cuisine.”

FHI assisted in rebranding and upgrading an existing supermarket chain in Dong Guan, China to reposition its new “All Good” brand as a leading operator with an exciting fresh new food gourmet experience with an eye for aggressive growth across the region.

The Prime Society / Dedicated to the Upper Cut
The Prime Society was conceptualized and set up in the lush Dempsey Hill area of Singapore in a former army barrack. It’s 7,000 sqft space provides for a dramatic open kitchen with a custom-designed “Parilla-style” grill and a central island bar with a 14 meter high ceiling. With its timber, exposed brick and French kitchen tiles, it is a steakhouse and bar with a colonial touch, with its menu taking inspiration from strong Pan-Asian flavours merged with the best of Australian beef as well as signature chilli and lime rubbed pork ribs served on oak-planks. The wrap-around verandah with its lush garden vista is ideal for sipping the creative range of bespoke bloody marys, longan iced teas and the signature Tiger Beer Milkshake.

The Nautilus Project
Conceptualized as a modern seafood restaurant located on the top floor of the ION shopping mall in Singapore. The Nautilus Project features oversized cauldrons serving steaming seafood broths, an ice bar displaying fresh Tasmanian lobsters, French oysters and champagne by the glass. A raised chef’s table provides exclusive private dining whilst overlooking the chefs in action and the busy Orchard Road five stories below.

Taj Palace Hotel / New Delhi
The Taj hotel group engaged us to re-conceptualize their existing all day dining restaurant into an exciting new destination driven food service venue at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi. A concept was developed taking full advantage of its unique views overlooking the central ridge forest reserve of Mumbai, creating a unique greenhouse or conservatory extension with the potential to grow organic herbs, vegetables, spices and flora to be used in the preparation and presentation of its cuisine through hydroponics and horticulture, to create what essentially would become a farmer’s market. “Botanica” is scheduled to open in 2012. The Sofitel Mumbai is Sofitel’s first entry into the Indian market and is due to open its doors in the Bandra Kurla commercial district in 2011. We were engaged to conceptualize its food service establishments and work with the appointed interior and kitchen designers in creating unique dining and entertainment options for business and leisure travellers alike.

Sheraton Incheon / South Korea
The Sheraton Incheon became the first five star hotel as part of Korea’s master-planned metropolis development, Incheon – Songdo City, a unique new waterfront development by KPF Architects offering a wide range of residential, business, cultural, and retail facilities. The hotel property sits across from a 100-acre central park and the new Songdo Convention Center and Trade Tower is directly adjacent to the hotel. We were engaged by the Daewoo Construction group to conceptualize, provide operational space planning and pre-opening support to the Starwood group for all its food service establishments.

Sezzam / Mall of Emirates
Sezzam is a 1,000 seater multi-concept food service establishment in a 35,000 sqft space directly adjacent to “Ski Dubai” ski slope and snow park, within the “Mall of the Emirates” shopping mall in Dubai. The Al Futtaim Investment group engaged our services and we conceptualized and implemented a cutting edge, interactive multi-cuisine food service concept that could meet the demand for a high volume establishment, offering a wide range of cuisines, price points and services styles.

My Thai by Jim Thompson
MyThai, a restaurant inspired by the spirit of Jim Thompson. As part of their overseas expansion plans, Jim Thompson engaged our services to conceptualize and implement a unique Thai restaurant concept within the Starhill Shopping Centre development in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As part of our research, the man, Jim Thompson draw our inspiration for single-handedly revitalizing the Thai silk industry. He was renowned throughout the region for his expansive nature and gracious hospitality. His house by the river was always full of good food and good cheer. At “MyThai” we aspired to recapture that combination of authentic Thai home cooking and warm conviviality in a homely setting, reminding diners of the earthy origins of the fragrant herbs and spices that flavour their meal. Jim Thompson have since opened up further restaurants in Singapore and Japan.

Mint / Museum of Toys
MINT (Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys) Museum of Toys is the world’s first purpose-built museum for toys, and opened its door to the public in May 2006. It was officially launched by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr George Yeo, on 5 March 2007. Belonging to a Singaporean collector, the private museum showcases an extensive collection of vintage toys, including rare and unique one-of-a-kind pieces. It is considered to be the largest collection of its kind within Southeast Asia, with more than 50,000 pieces of vintage toys and childhood memorabilia. We were engaged to conceptualize a casual cafe within its premises.

Kuali The Asian Kitchen
Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre is one of the largest convention and exhibition service providers in Asia Pacific and as part of their continuous facility upgrades, we were engaged to conduct an asset evaluation study to determine best use of space available for its food service operation. FHI provided concept development for all its food service establishments and implemented through project management a large restaurant showcasing the “Best of Singapore” with the opening of “Kuali – The Asian Kitchen”.

Kilo – Big on Food / Perth
Kilo – Big on Food was conceptualized and implemented as part of a newly built annex to the former Perth City Hotel in Perth, Australia. The 3,500 sqft space featured an open kitchen with a mussel display counter highlighting the blue-lip mussels served gratinated or steamed and served in pots, accompanied with doubled-fried fries. Belgian beers on tap and boutique bottled beers were dispensed from a large oval shaped bar. A large outdoor terrace overlooked Hay Street and offered the perfect place in the sun to enjoy a cold beer with steamed mussels and fries.

Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa / Egypt
Owned by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and operated by the Hilton International hotel group, the Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa has undertaken a complete renovation and we were engaged to re-conceptualize all of its food and beverage offering. The resort has reopened as one of the leading luxury hotel properties in Egypt. We took advantage of its magnificent location by repositioning its food service facilities towards the Nile river and Valley of The Kings. It is today a beautiful base from which you explore the ancient tombs, Karnak temple and natural beauty of the surrounding area whilst at the same time experience local and regional cuisine and a rejuvenating spa treatment at the resort itself.

The Address Dubai Mall
Emaar Hospitality’s first hotel under their newly created “The Address Hotels Resorts” brand. The hotel is directly connected to “Dubai Mall”, the world’s largest shopping and entertainment mall. We were responsible for concept development, operational space planning and design coordination with architects, interior designers and kitchen consultants for all food service establishments. “The Address” has a total of 5 properties in operation today.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
Established and family run since 1963, we were engaged to negotiate and obtain the rights to “The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf” for Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Upon securing these we set about redeveloping the brand to suit the markets in these regions which included a complete redevelopment of their limited food and beverage menu while maximizing the potential of its signature “Ice Blended” range of drinks. Our client has today acquired the entire company and the formula which we successfully developed across Asia Pacific and the Middle East is now present at all CBTL locations worldwide. From a small California based chain of 30 outlets to a worldwide expansion of close to 800 stores in 10 years.

Ciragan Palace Kempinski / Istanbul
This former Ottoman palace is currently managed by Kempinski and owned by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. It sits majestically at the shores of the Bosporus in central Istanbul. Currently used mainly for functions and a limited number of suites, we were engaged as part of a team to study asset enhancement possibilities and proposed to reposition it along the likes of Europe’s very best grand hotels.

Sheraton Hotel Brigade Gateway / Bangalore
The Sheraton Hotel in Bangalore forms part of the Brigade Gateway mixed use development which includes the World Trade Centre, a shopping mall, an American hospital, an American school, a sports club complex and several new residential apartment blocks. We were engaged to develop all food service concepts and coordinate all operational space planning with appointed architects, interior designers, kitchen consultants and brand designers.

The Platinum Park development located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is an exclusive mixed-use development featuring Norman Foster designed residential towers, a five star hotel, office towers and integrated and engaging retail and food service venues. Marina Bay Sands
Las Vegas Sands corporation is today one of the largest gaming corporations in the world and recently opened its USD6 billion Marina Bay Sands integrated casino resort development in Singapore.
We were engaged as their official food service consultants to provide them with advice with regards to reviewing their overall food service strategy. This included advising them on operational space planning, tenancy mix, rental yields, suitability reports and recommending suitable food service brands and renowned first-to-market establishments from across Asia Pacific.

Isla Del Rey / Panama
Enveloped by aquamarine, turquoise water and white sandy beaches, Isla Del Rey or The Pearl Islands, located off the Pacific coast of Panama will soon have its first five star luxury resort estate and residential villas.
We were engaged as the hospitality consultants to The Ainsworth Group responsible to advise them on the overall master planning of the resort and its facilities, including all food service establishments. Some of you may recognize the island from the American reality TV show, Survivor Pearl Islands.

Caffe B Fine Italian Cuisine
A Japanese multinational corporation engaged us to conceptualize an authentic Italian restaurant in Singapore. We created a unique concept taking advantage of the client’s heritage as well as its close connections to exclusive vineyards in Italy, blending authentic Italian cuisine with high quality ingredients sourced from across Japan. He hired a highly skilled service and kitchen crew led by Japanese chefs and managers and project managed with the client’s renowned Japanese designer in implementing the agreed vision. We secured an attractive location within the Marina Bay Sands integrated casino resort development, creating a fine dining ambience with a restaurant and bar across two levels facing Singapore’s Marina Bay waterfront.

Al Bateen Wharf / Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi’s signature waterfront development is spearheaded by TDIC. This mixed use development will encompass a fishermen’s wharf and community centre, a luxury yacht club, retail outlets, restaurants, cafes, bars and entertainment facilities. Once completed it will sit adjacent to the upcoming W Hotel and form an attractive destination venue for locals, expatriates, business visitors and tourists. Focus was responsible for all food service concept development as well as operational space planning with the architects, interior designers, M&E, retail consultants and kitchen consultants.

Balzac Brasserie
Balzac Brasserie is a quintessential French bistro recently opened at Rendezvous Gallery in Singapore, serving up comforting classic French favourites and well-curated cocktails. It is set to become an institution offering a real slice of Paris in Singapore.
Focus was engaged to conceptualize, secure a suitable site, appoint and lead the design team, recruit the operations team and implement the agreed concept according to the established budget and timeframe. This included sourcing a majority of the FF&E including an 8-metre long antique zinc bar counter directly from Paris all with the determination to deliver an ambience that recreates the true Parisian brasserie.

Skyve Wine Bistro
Skyve Wine Bistro is located in an old school building in the Newton Circus area of Singapore. The concept offers a fresh, modern bistro with clear reference in both design and branding to its heritage location. As the client hosts numerous functions, the layout had to be flexible enabling the restaurant and bar to seamlessly combine when necessary, yet provide a distinct differentiation when called for.

Beanstro by CBTL
Upon securing an attractive location within the Marina Bay Sands integrated casino resort in Singapore, “The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf” engaged our services and we re-conceptualized a more up-market version of the traditional “The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf” outlet featuring table service, a dedicated kitchen and a site specific menu. The result was a five fold increase in sales turnover as compared to a standard “CBTL” outlet. Look out for more “Beanstro” outlets across the region in selected markets and locations.
